I was inspired to write Trailer Park Abe while watching a recent episode of True Blood. There's just something about finding a wholesome, handsome redneck living among trailer trash that gets me flustered. I feel compelled to rescue him into my arms.

Inspiration finds me. I can't sit down and force myself to write. It has to happen organically. Ideas are constantly popping into my head and when something great comes along that's usually when I have to down tools and get writing.

Right now I'm concentrating on expanding my debut gay erotic series All American Studs. There's a sequel to Trailer Park Abe in the works (which is why it ended on a "To be continued ..."), an AllAmericanStuds.com origin story, and a couple of others that I'm fleshing out that look very promising. What can I say - I've got monkey brain when it comes to stories about hot men falling for each other.

The tactic that has worked for me in the past has been to write down every possible idea that flows into my head, no matter how obvious and inappropriate, and then I set the story aside until a eureka moment comes along with a truly brilliant solution to the hole in my storyline.
