My most recent book was written after I received lots of feedback from readers and fellow writers.
I decided that I wanted to Elaborate a bit more on the things I'd written of in my first book.
Then, as I began working on the second edition of Campbell's Rambles: How a Seeing Eye Dog Retrieved My life, I realized there was much needing told. So much in fact, it wouldn't all fit into one new book and so "Pathway to Freedom Broken and Healed: Book One How a Seeing Eye Dog Retrieved My Life" was born.
I'd planned to write and publish the second in this memoir trilogy during the end of 2020 and publish during 2021 but as is the way, I make plans and the Universe laughs.
First, Campbell passed away in September of 2020 and I needed time to recover from that loss. Of course we were all dealing with Lockdown and I had some personal issues as well.
Then, in 2021, I went back to The Seeing Eye for my second dog and came home in August with Blue a Black Lab Cross.
On top of this, we moved and are just settling into our new place. So the second book is on hold.

My advice for anyone who wants to be a writer is simply...
Do it! There's no right time to begin. You'll never have that perfect moment. The time is NOW!

Hi. I've never really had "Writer's Block". Because I write about my life, and there's always so much going on, it's easy to find things to write about.
However, when I need to write content pieces for client's blogs, or come up with a snazzy slogon for an ad, sometimes I get stumped. So, I just mask up, go for a long walk and soon my muse is jabbering happily again.
