I take a break from writing. I watch some good movies or read some good books. I try to immerse myself in other peoples' art. I think creativity is an energy, and it is an energy that is contagious. Surround yourself with art that really makes you feel something, and your own ideas will start flowing again.

Seeing one of my readers' faces light up when they tell me how much they liked a specific chapter or character from my story. I think all writers (all artists, for that matter) thrive on sharing their work with others, and there is nothing better than having people enjoy your work.

Just write. Too many aspiring authors get sidetracked trying to read all these articles and websites about how to write. If you're spending all your time reading about writing, when are you actually writing? Now, there is nothing wrong with wanting to hone your skills or learn new writing techniques. However, you cannot let that sidetrack your writing. So, if you want to have a book finished, you need to write that book. So go write! Right now!

I am working on book 2 for the Saints Caliber, and I can say that it will have all the things my readers have been wanting more of! I can't give any details right now because I don't want to give out any spoilers. However, those who have read the entire first book will be happy to learn that Agana will have a major storyline in this book.

Writing is just something I have always enjoyed. I began writing when I was too young to even spell, and my mom would help me write the words as I told her the stories.

There really was no one thing that gave me the idea for The Record of the Saints Caliber. I had been tinkering with the notion of a warrior class known as the Saints Caliber, and the idea of Star Armor had been born from a previous book I was writing. The monstrous kings that rule the world were also products of other books I had been toying with, but never wrote. It just kind of happened that all the ideas came together as one for this book.
