The best thing about being a writer is creating a world that others love and want to get lost in. Nothing beats the feeling of a reader telling you, they love your story and the way your story made them feel. Writing is truly a magical thing.

I write anyway. For me, the only way to deal with writers block is to keep writing and write through it. Even if what I've written never gets used, there is generally something in it that can be salvaged. It only needs to be one line for it to be worth it.

I'm currently writing what will be the last book in The Connected series. I write what I feel, and right now, those characters are talking to me.

Music - I listen to music constantly and I write to music all the time! I often have one song on repeat the whole time I am writing a particular scene. It really helps me get into a certain mood, and whenever I hear that song - I'm transported back to that scene. It is incredibly powerful.

I got the idea for Doubt while I was watching the TV. The female character came on to the screen but instead of watching what was happening to her, this whole scene was unfolding in my head. I could see it happening and I was captivated. I couldn't get to my laptop quick enough to start writing it down. That scene lead on to others and pretty soon, I had a book written. That scene actually became one of the most important scenes in Doubt.
