John Yeo Jr. If you're a writer, you've been there too. I usually recommend giving yourself a half-hour to just madly scribble ideas, doodles and genres down until something begins to form. I always begin in the same place....what is a book that I would like to read?

But when that fails, you should take a step back. Take a few hours to watch a movie, play a brand new game I've never tried before----or better yet, read someone else's book! A new novel, a comic, perhaps one of the anthology of short stories I have on my to-read pile! After I allow myself to be the audience for a little while, I'll usually find new inspiration eventually for me to play with, too.
John Yeo Jr. I just finished THE INFINITE LEAGUE, which is available in September. Currently, I'm working on my first graphic novel in quite some time. It's about a young girl with a sunny disposition and a somewhat cavalier attitude towards life who decides to abandon her old profession of exchanging romantic favors in rest stops for money for a new career in tracking and recovering fugitives. It's called "SADIE McSTATCH: BOUNTY HUNTIN' ROAD WHORE".
