If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Susan Anne Mason What a hard question! I'd probably choose Boston in the early 1900s and visit Julie Lessman's O'Connor family! Great books if you haven't read them!

What was your inspiration for Irish Meadows? Do you have horses? Have you been around horse farms? This book is amazing, by the way!!!
Susan Anne Mason Thank you, Nicole! I don't have horses or know much about them at all! My inspiration was more in the line of characters - the forbidden love! Rylan and Colleen's story was inspired by "The Thornbirds" by Colleen McCullogh.

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Susan Anne Mason What a tough one! So many great couples. But I chose Izzy and Caleb from Susan May Warren's "My Foolish Heart". These characters grabbed me right from the start because they are both so wounded. Izzy can barely leave the house, traumatized by witnessing her parents die in a car accident. And Caleb comes back wounded from the war. Each has debilitating issues, but together they find that their love is the catalyst to healing. So amazingly well written!

I'm not sure how "Hannah's Choice" got linked to my name but it's not one of mine. The three in the Courage to Dream Series are: Irish Meadows, A Worthy Heart, and Love's Faithful Promise. Thanks!

Wonderful book! It's always a treat when a beautiful cover surrounds an outstanding story . . . "Irish Meadows" was intoxicating . . . . in a good way! Do you know how many books are going to be in the series?

Susan Anne Mason Study the craft of writing as much as you can and practice, practice. Also once you have a manuscript ready for critique, enter writing contests for great feedback!
