Ideas spring up from conversations I overhear in diners, or things in the news. I'm reading Dickens' Dictionary of London 1888 right now, and you wouldn't believe the stuff that's in there. It's given me several ideas that are sort of backed up in the runway in my mind, for future use.

The idea for Rosina and the Travel Agency has been kicking around in my head for years, ever since I was in high school and read Jack Finney's wonderful book, Time and Again.
