That's a hard one because I like so many of them. So I'll say ONE of my favorite fictional couples is Jack and Lucy from While You Were Sleeping. Lucy is lonely, yet she's such a sweet person. Everyone likes her. When she's stuck in a difficult position after witnessing her crush, Peter, being injured, she goes to his rescue. Everyone misunderstands and thinks they are engaged and since Peter is in a coma, he can't correct them. For the first time in a long, long time, Lucy is no longer alone and is surrounded by new family.
Then she meets Jack and falls almost instantly in love with him. But because she has such strong morals, she can't act on that. She's supposed to be with Peter.
Meanwhile, Jack falls in love with Lucy at first sight as well. But she's his brother's fiancee and he does everything he can to make sure she's okay and still be honorable.
And I love that, in the end, their love wins out. It's a wonderful love story that I can watch again and again!

I love being a writer because I have the opportunity to share stories that are close to my heart with other people. I can also write at home around my daily schedule of being a mom and a wife. I feel completely blessed.

I have a whole backlog of story ideas stored in my head. But when I'm stuck on how to get one down onto paper, reading often helps with that. It relaxes my brain while letting me run through different scenarios at the same time.

The book I'm currently writing - Finding Courage - is the third book in my Love's Compass series. I got the general idea for this book a few years ago and have had it on the back burner. As soon as I introduced Avalon in Finding Hope, I knew that it had to be her story!
I wanted to take a marriage that wasn't doing well and focus on how romance and love could be rekindled in a situation like that. I wanted to show how a couple could decide together to give love a second chance.

Don't give up! Write something regularly. The whole thing I heard all the time about how you have to write every day is silly. I do that now, but there were years I didn't follow those rules. I've wanted to write novels my whole life, but I wasn't always able to write. So I wrote when I could. I saved everything. And I'm able to finally use it at this point in my life now.

I read some of my favorite books that I've read before. Sometimes I just have to sit down and power through it. I read somewhere that, even if you write something that's not very good, it can be fixed. Which is a lot better than not writing anything at all!

I'm finishing edits for Finding Hope, which is the second book in the Love's Compass series. I'm also in the beginning stages of my next book. The title hasn't been decided yet, but the book is about Avalon. She's Lance's sister and you'll meet her in Finding Hope :-)
