What are you currently working on?
Deborah Baldwin My job keeps me inordinately busy at this time of year, so the most I can do is to think about the plot if the next book. But I think it will be about a home schooled boy who loves Baseball, but his whole family loves Greek theater. It involves vintage Baseball cards, a desperate trick and humor, of course!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Deborah Baldwin I would advise aspiring writers to keep the negative voices quiet in your mind and ignore people around you who try to persuade you to quit writing. I have dealt with both and it took me a really long time to write BBea. The next book will be written much quicker--I think...

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Deborah Baldwin I visited Japan when I was a high school girl. The idea for the story originated fron my attendance to a Kabuki a Theater play.

How do you get inspired to write?
Deborah Baldwin I live in the Ricky Mountains and drive about 350 miles a week to my teaching job since I teach in the valley.. I have lots of time to think and think, I do.
