Absolutely! I actually started a poem-writing business when I was about 8 :) I loved to read when I was a kid (still do!), and I always dreamed of coming up with stories of my own. I wanted people to fall in love with my characters as much as I had fallen in love with certain characters over the years! :)

When I first created Curtinville, Texas, for "Trick Play", I realized that there are countless people and storylines that could live there. I almost felt like Curtinville was a character, instead of just the setting. So, digging into some other twists and turns around town seemed like the logical next step!

Now that "Trick Play" is published, I'm working on my second book. I'm going to take readers back to Curtinville for another emotional rollercoaster in the tiny town that's got no shortage of drama!

The freedom! As long as I've got my laptop, I can work anywhere in the world. I have the power to create more than just characters.
