When I was 10, it was Nancy Drew and Ned, but as I advanced in age, I fell in love with Darcy and Elizabeth. I still consider it the perfect story. He's so vulnerable behind all that pride, and she's so kind behind all that snark. For movies, I'm still devoted to Harry and Sally. Great progression and growth behind all that humor.

Jenna and Ryan, the heroine and hero of Remaking Ryan, are characters from the very first book I wrote, many, many years ago. That book was a romance about Jenna's dad and Ryan's aunt. Jenna and Ryan met and interacted when they were teenagers, but then they went their separate ways. I always thought it would be fun to have them meet up again later in their lives, when things weren't going so well for either one of them. Now, they're both a little jaded, disillusioned, and at a crossroads that will change everything about their futures. Lots of built in angst and conflict there between two smart, accomplished, and funny people.

I am currently putting the finishing touches on Remaking Ryan, the third book in The Billionaire Brotherhood. And then, I'm excited about writing a Billionaire Brotherhood pre-quel, a novella about Wyatt, Dylan, and Ryan's drive across the country in the wake of 9/11.

Write, write, write. There is no other way to hone your craft and voice. And then, as soon as you are able, whether you intend to self-publish or publish traditionally, hire a professional editor. I wish I had done that sooner.

My favorite part is being able to put my thoughts and feelings on paper through my characters and then being able to share them with others.

Writer's block just never happens to me. Sometimes after I've been writing for several hours, the words just dry up and I have to stop for a few hours to let me brain rest. But mostly, I have more ideas and characters to write about than I have time to work on.
