Soliel De Bella I am competitive with myself. I want to see what I can do. I don't plan on wasting any time in my life wondering anything without trying to conquer it. I want to live life fearlessly. My inspiration is my sole ambition to see what I can accomplish. I love writing, it's absolutely creative in every way and I think in this day and age, we need more of it. I will teach my kids to do keep physically active and creatively active. That's where real genius lies. See what you can make in this world that will leave your name engrained forever! you did that! it's yours. What a feeling!
Soliel De Bella I have ten titles under Soliel De Bella. This year is so very exciting for me. I have started two thrillers. Non-erotica under my pen name Dakota Blu. I have two in the works and a third idea. My current WIP is The Frail Ones.
I start the book and grab a cover right away, this way it's an incentive. My readers are my incentive, especially an ARC group that awaits your books to give you a kick. I absolutely love thrillers the most and I wanted to start writing them. This book is about a little boy growing up in rural Wisconsin. He and his mother are victims to an alcoholic father/husband. He is a downright monster and watching him physically brutalize his mother does something to the boy. He snaps. The torture over the years and being so isolated with his own thoughts switches something dark within him. This story toys with nature vs nurture. This story takes place at the end of the 1930s, during the depression and because of the time period, he is able to slip through a lot of cracks in the system. The whole world was in turmoil at that time, it was easy to get away with some things as you will soon see.
Soliel De Bella To write. If you never try, you will never get there. I am the worst at editing and grammar, that was my biggest thing. Hiring a good editor is key or having your publisher take hold of your story and teach you how to craft it. In the beginning, you will know nothing. That's okay, you will get there. It took me four years to come this far and I am still at my infancy. You can't grow and learn if you don't try. Best advice, stop with the excuses because your time here on earth is quite limited, use your time wisely and live with zero regrets. More than anything, accept your screw-ups they make you better.
Soliel De Bella With writer's block, I just come back to it later. Ideas hit at weird times so the worst thing I can do is try to force it. When it's ready, it will come. I have put things aside for months and moved on until I had more of a handle on how to unravel the mess I think I have gotten myself into. Sometimes it's only a day and I am back in the game. I don't get down about it too much. It's common for everyone.
