Hi Amber, and thanks for asking.
It depends on how intricate the story is, and how often my characters misbehave on paper. Sometimes I can get the bare bones of the story down in a couple of months, and spend another couple with edits and re-writes.
But what I'm working on now (super secret contemporary/taboo romance) has written itself in fast-forward. I literally started it last Saturday morning and am about 5 chapters from the end right now.
I also wrote the second in the Moon Bound series between the start and end of Sept. I guess practice makes perfect, so I'm getting quicker? lol
I still have a few edits left to do on Bound by Revenge, once the last round of Betas get back to me :)

I haven't had anyone say anything negative about my work. Anyone who's reached out to me has had only positive and lovely things to say. In fact, some of them were so enamoured of my book that they've joined my street team and have just Beta Read the second book in the series :)

High Fantasy. I feel like a traitor saying that, considering my own book is a PNR lol. I just love to read the tales of sword-swinging-magic-wielding-knights-in-shining-armor, and who doesn't love dragons? My most favorite author of all time would have to be GRRM. He's just a genius, and he's not afraid to lop off a few popular heads.
I write High Fantasy as well, and am currently working on the first in a trilogy. It's taken years to build that world, and I've brought those world-building skills into play for my PNR series, albeit for a different type of world setting. I think you have to be in a certain mood to concentrate on High Fantasy. It's not a flick-through-skim-a-few sort of genre. And that's why I love PNR so much. It gives me free reign to use all the elements of High Fantasy in a condensed version. I'll stop babbling on now. :P

As soon as I could, I think! I remember getting an exam question in English class for my Junior Certificate, and it was basically an essay question in which you had to write an essay with a particular phrase. The phrase I had to use was, "and then he jumped". I wrote a fabulously morbid story about a man standing on a window ledge, contemplating suicide, and in the end he decided he had to...and then he jumped lol
I got an A in that!
I've been writing forever, but only just decided recently to publish anything. :)

Writer's block and I are such intimate friends that I've added it as a check-in on FB. I usually go read something in a completely different genre to what I'm writing in and that can get the creative juices flowing again. If all else fails, I will flail and scream and sulk. Eventually the block goes away :P

Currently, I'm working on the second instalment of the series, Bound by Revenge.

Keep writing. Write, and then write more, and when you're finished writing, write it again.
