Oh wow, this is a hard one to ask. There are so many worlds I would love to visit, but let's go with the worlds of Loom and Nova from Elise Kova's ALCHEMISTS OF LOOM series, or the society in Pierce Brown's RED RISING series. They might not be the nicest places to live, but both are so unique and interesting to read about. I love them!

Oh boy, this could be a long list. I'm still working through my To Be Read Pile, but I'm very excited for:
The Broken Ones by Danielle L. Jensen
The Kill Society by Richard Kadrey
Nothing Left To Lose by Dan Wells
Roar by Cora Carmack
Scorpion's Trap by P. DaCosta
Lost Boy: The True Story of Captain Hook by Christina Henry
The Dragons of Nova by Elise Kova
Besieged by Kevin Hearne
Talon of God by Wesley Snipes
Age of Swords by Michael J. Sullivan
Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo
Those are the biggest ones... so it looks like my summer will be full of great reads! What is everyone else wanting to read? Any on this list? Others you're excited for?

When I was in my teens, I was a huge fan of pirates (Pirates of the Caribbean owned my soul) and vampires (the non-sparkly kind), and would daydream about stories for them. I didn't come back to the idea until around 10 years later when I discovered the amazingness of steampunk, and from there I created a new world with new adventures for my characters, which is also subsequently how I started discovering my love for writing.

At the moment, I'm working on an urban fantasy series revolving around Greek mythology as well as a young adult fantasy series with Gargoyles and Fey gods. I'm also planning a standalone young adult fantasy about Atlantis that will be started in November. Right now, there are no scheduled release dates planned, but I'm hoping for summer, fall, and early spring releases.

Neither, because it has nothing to do with the book you write. It's the story that matters during promos, not my looks.

Leiah,
Absolutely! I'm still learning about where to post my books (they should be going up on Indiebound soon), so I'll put them on those three sites as soon as I can. Thank you!

I stop whatever I'm doing and leave it alone. Forcing words out when you're stuck is never helpful, and sometimes you just need to take a step back, re-read what you wrote before, and think about what you want before you get back into the swing of things. Every author gets writers block, but they all work to overcome it as well.

Only everything. There is nothing in the world that makes me happier than writing does. Just being able to sit down and create an entire world or characters and adventures is a complete thrill, and it's so uplifting to look back on your work with pride. It's the ultimate euphoria for a daydreamer.

There's tons of advice you can give someone, but to me there are only two pieces you really need. 1) Don't give up. No matter how many rejections you get, no matter how many people say you can't do it, never give up. The only way you can improve is to keep trying. Constructive criticism and editing can be painful sometimes, but they're your friends in the end. If writing is your true passion, the thing that makes you happiest, then continue doing it. You'll only get better. 2) Write something you love. I'm the kind of author who needs a visual in her head. If I had that image, it means I love the idea and I want to get it written down. If I can't picture the story, then I should be moving onto an idea that I can't stop picturing.

Honestly, the littlest things inspire me. It could be a song, a prompt, and image, a quote, a piece of clothing, a conversation, I could even be walking down the street and have the most brilliant, random idea spawn in my head. I'm highly creative, and once I get that spark, I think about it until I have a bonfire. The more I love an idea, the less I can let it go.
