Jennifer Deese When I'm initially hit with writers block I simply just walk away from what I am working on and watch a movie, clean, garden listen to music. Music is a great block remover for me. If it persists I have found that reading a good boom can help sometimes. Its as if reading anothers words and stories clicks something in my own brain that once again allows my own creative juices to flow.
Jennifer Deese The idea for The Orchid Keeper came from several wells. I live orchids and I love fantasy. The idea to mix both problem that exist in reality with a fantasy setting was spontaneous. As I began the book it just simply morphed into what it is.
Jennifer Deese I think one of the best things about writing is the fact that I can create worlds that people can actually visualize and characters they can get to know and feel for.
Jennifer Deese Don't stop writing. No matter how many rejections you receive keep creating your stories, keep submitting them and keep writing.
