I think it would have to be Clare and Jamie Fraser from the Outlander series. They have an unbreakable bond, and an unwavering commitment, that literally transcends time and survives the most horrendous trials. Who WOULDN'T want to be them?

Thanks for the question! I am about half way there, but I'm REALLY trying to pick up the momentum. I'm planning on having the second book out this summer. As I write that, I realize it's right around the corner! I better get to writing... :-)

In the words of Dory, Just Keep Swimming! Or just keep writing anyway. Write something, anything, ever day. Keep a notebook with you and jot down anything that inspires you. Read everything you can. Pay attention to the world--read the news! Realize you always have something to learn. Even if you were president of the Creative Writing honors society in college, don't assume you know everything there is to know about writing. Know that success won't come easily (for most of us anyway) but that is can be achieved. Don't try to be someone else' brand of perfect. And above all--just ignore the haters!

That's a tricky one! Any writer knows that sometimes the words just won't come no matter how much you beg. I usually just force myself to write SOMETHING. Anything! Even if it stinks I force myself to get words on the page. Then I'll revisit it when I get a spark of inspiration. If I'm really stumped and have seemingly forgotten how to write entirely? I'll search for the muse in other outlets--a great song, exercise, nature, cooking, books, Breaking Bad--anything that gets my brain working!
