Thank you! I'm working on Book #2 presently. I'm having a great time doing so, in spite of the fact that I was reluctant to create a series initially. Halfway through the writing of A Deeper Dive, I could see how Merrill, my main character, could definitely have a "life" and cold cases beyond the first.

I love a list as much as the next girl, but I don't always stick with them. Here's the plan for the summer of 2017:
The Pecan Man by Cassie Dandridge Selleck
The Badass Librarians of Timbuktu by Joshua Hammer
Commonwealth by Ann Patchett
The Excellent Lombards by Jane Hamilton
The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead
The Nix by Nathan Hill

I am in the early stages of writing my second novel, and, like my first book, Convergence, it's a psychological thriller. My protagonist is a popular author whose short story is found on the blood-soaked body of a teen. The atrocity the boy has committed and the author's determination to find out what role his story played in his carrying it out, irrevocably changes the lives of the people in the rural New York State community where it is set. I've just written the short story, which is integral to the plot, and I'm pretty pleased with it. Stay tuned!

The idea came when a friend of mine received an email from a man she had known forty years ago in college. He wanted to know if she might be interested in reconnecting. She wasn't, but the wheels of my imagination started turning....
