I have always loved animals and reading. When I was a kid I adored The Saddle Club book series by Bonnie Bryant and I devoured those books. I loved the feeling that I got to know the characters a bit more with each book in the series, and they felt like old friends. I wanted to write a series that gave my readers those feelings of comfort and familiarity, and create a world from which I could keep telling stories. "Lakeview Animal Rescue Club" started pouring out of me when I sat down to try, and I have grown to love these characters, and I am eager to write their next story. Book #1 is called "Mew Beginnings" and will be available in June 2017.

I have a few different projects in the works right now. The third and fourth books in The Summer Break Kids series are both in the rough draft stage. We have never worked on two books at the same time, before now, so it's an experiment and we'll see how it goes. I am also working on my first coloring book (which is a casual project that I expect to take some time) and a stand-alone children's picture book in which I will be doing all writing and illustrating myself.
