I know it's the biggest no-no in the indie world, but my first book (and all of my indie titles) are currently self-edited. My traditionally published titles with Forever Romance have an amazing editor over at Grand Central Publishing--I'm super lucky!
The biggest challenge I had writing Normal was finding the courage to share it with the world. Luckily, there were some amazing indie authors like Colleen Hoover and Tammara Webber to pave the way ahead of me, who inspired me to take the leap!

I love the cover to Normal. I originally designed my own, and it was just awful, so about a year ago I approached the amazing Anna Crosswell at Cover Couture to revamp the self-made covers for my indie titles. I love that the cover to Normal is just a beautiful profile of Rory, and the rain and melancholic colors interrupted by subtle brightness is just such a perfect representation of the story... I'd say she nailed it!
