Hard to answer that as I find everything in life to be a resource of ideas. Usually it's something as simple as "wouldn't it be cool if..." and then my brain supplies the rest.

I don't really believe in writer's block in the traditional sense. If I am struggling to write it either means I think what I will write is terrible or I am just discouraged about writing in general. If it is the former, I sometimes write the "bad idea" on purpose because it can help me find a better solution. If it is the second, I will try to get myself excited about the project again by reminding myself of what me interested in the first place.

The sequel to Elevated. I am hoping the first book is successful enough to warrant many more stories in that universe.

I have been fascinated with the concept many comic book stories have that the same catalyst can yield wildly different results. I thought about what type of world we would have if we knew we could flip a switch to unlock a superhero ability, but we didn't know what ability it would be. For some, they would receive exciting powers, but others could receive something embarrassing or mundane.
