(view spoiler)[I finished reading "River Bodies" a couple days ago; I loved the book...but I must have slept through a very crucial part of the book because I finished the book, but I really didn't know for sure who the culprits were. Can you send me an email as to not give away the story line on this website to let me know who "did the deeds"? I think I lost it somewhere around the barn encounter...karenkira@yahoo.com (hide spoiler)]

Ah! There are so many books in my TBR pile not including the ones I'm looking forward to this summer! Up next on my list are The Roanoke Girls by Amy Engel, Since We Fell by Dennis Lehane, The Day I Died by Lori Rader-Day.
I can't wait to get my hands on Mary Kubica's Every Last Lie, Emily Carpenter's The Weight of Lies, E.C. Diskin's Depth of Lies, (are you seeing a theme in titles here? It's no longer "Girls" but "Lies") and Karen Dionne's The Marsh King's Daughter, David Bell's Bring Her Home.
I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting, but that's a good start!
xo,
Karen

I'd love to meet up with old friends from university. There are so many I've lost touch with through the years. As for cuisine, I'll eat most anything as long as it's cooked! I'm not a fan of raw oysters, sushi, etc....

The events of my debut novel, The Secrets of Lake Road, revolve around a young boy who went missing at a lake where my grandmother owned a cabin when I was growing up. Although, the novel is not related to that missing boy or his drowning, the idea came from that tragic accident.
