D.J. Baldock Honestly, its knowing people get pleasure out of the stories, and engage with them. I love hearing what people think about my characters, and that what happens to them affects the readers. I hope my future stories have the same effect.
D.J. Baldock My main focus is the sequel to Alicia, which is called Honey. I'm also part way through The Choir, a slightly bananas sci-fi space opera. There are lots of part formed projects lurking on my hard drive, including a sci-fi horror called Bleedthrough. I'll finish one of these soon, I swear!
D.J. Baldock Honey, the sequel to Alicia, can best be described as the Back to the Future 2 of this particular universe. I like the notion of one thing changing and upsetting the entire world, cosmos even.
As for The Choir, I realised that even in the far future, with robots, spaceships and aliens, there would still be mundane paperwork, tedious jobs and a tendency for people to want to go adventuring. When offered a chance by an alien AI, I think most people would say yes. Or perhaps just me!
