Good question! I haven't found the perfect remedy yet honestly. Usually I'll just end up stuffing my face and thinking. This may not be good... ;)

I get to work from home, or on the go and be there whenever my family needs me. I don't expect fame, or fortune, though I wouldn't turn my nose up at it if it occurred! ha ha.

Keep writing. Even if you think it sucks, keep writing! The only way to become 'good' at it is to just keep doing it.

Anything and everything I see, hear or experience gets filed away in my brain somewhere to be used for future material.

I have a new volume of poetry entitled 'Under Your Skin' due to come out by the end of May/beginning of June. These poems are even more personal than 'Boxes and Doors of the Scorned Ones' and are written in more traditional poetic forms(think villanelles and triolets) as opposed to free-thought.
I also have a memoir currently in the second draft stages that I hope to be completed with before the end of 2015 titled 'When the Phoenix Rose'.
