My advice is to simply write it down. Start with a note pad, a voice recorder, napkin... whatever. Don't wait too long to put it on a pc. It makes editing your work so much easier. And never let anyone, especially yourself, convince you you're crazy for trying to become a writer.

It has never really happened to me. Stories fall out of my head like apples falling off a tree. If I get stuck for a particular way to describe something, I'll walk away from my computer, and imagine myself in the story.
