Tracey Jimerson Hi Brenda! I would have to answer that in one word, LIFE. I have to make the time to write. With 5 kids, a job, etc.. it is always difficult to write. I don't know if you are a writer or a reader, but either way you make the time. I used to keep a good book in the bathroom. I would find an excuse to go in there just to get a page or two in. "Ow my contacts hurt I need to take them out!"......next thing you know I am sitting on the edge of the tub reading a few pages. It is the same with writing. I carry my computer everywhere now. If I am at a ball practice I write, If I am waiting in a Dr.s office, I write. I always take one day a week off work. No-one is home but me and the cats and we write. Today is that day!!! Tigger is asleep on my lap now and I am updating pages and writing. Thanks for asking.
Tracey Jimerson I have never had it. I am sure my day is coming but so far, the few days I just don't feel the words are flowing right, I dream the solution that night.
Tracey Jimerson Seeing the final result of a hard, thick book full of words that your brain spun together into a story. Creating each character and breathing life in them is amazing. You are paid to....just be you.
Tracey Jimerson Don't let life get in the way of writing.....if you want to write it. Do it!
Tracey Jimerson A gut wrenching story involving the brutal murder and rape of a young child and her families ability to cope......and forgive, or not.
Tracey Jimerson It wasn't inspiration. I was born this way. I have always thought differently, and have always taken a smell, or a sound and woven a story in my mind from a simple stirring of the senses.
Tracey Jimerson I know an amazing man who has a GIFT. Call it divine intervention, the gift of discernment or crazy. He told me when I finished Tree Of Life, "Tracey, you have a gift and are a treasure as a writer but I need you to believe me when I tell you that you need to start book 2. That is the one that will heal you and make you envied above all writers in the author realm. Draw from a personal experience that haunts you and make sure you have a villain, the WRITE IT." So I did......ISOLATION was born when I took the worst experience in my life (the brutal murder of my best friend when we were both 10) and I created my own monster in order to set Anne free.
