I seriously don't know where it all comes from. Sometimes I will lye awake at night because I can't sleep because I have so many ideas rushing around in my head. I tend to go to bed with something next to me where I can write notes. Sets my mind at rest once I have offloaded it all. It happens during the day, I see something and my mind just runs wild.

I am currently working on my 3rd novel called, Bent. It's very controversial. It will probably raise some eyebrows. There's murder, rape, extortion, just to mention a few, all by a policeman. Here's the blurb if you want to know more. Will hopefully be out early part of next year.
Bent, the third urban crime thriller fiction novel by Steven H Latto. If you can't trust a copper, who can you trust?
PC Ash Taylor isn't in the Metropolitan Police very long before he finds himself in a situation that leaves him open to blackmail from one of his own colleagues. Trying to cover up his stupid mistake, he commits a crime, which is soon followed by another, until his life spirals out of control.
In urban London, and on his own turf, prostitutes, suppliers and drug dealers are turning up dead. All PC Ash Taylor can do is cover his tracks while he continues to go on a crime spree fuelled by greed, exacting his own kind of chillingly brutal justice to those who defy him. While the body count mounts up, little does he know that the people he works with are onto him as he commits his final acts as the most BENT copper in London.

Write what you would want to read. Someone else will like it. Don't try and be like someone else, because it won't work.

Just knowing someone somewhere is reading it.

I go on to a part I know. That way I keep writing. Once I have some flow, I generally find it easy to go back to where I was struggling before.
