You know when you are on the edge of sleep and your mind wonders...well that was where I was at when the prologue to my new book filled my head and had me scrambling out of bed to get it written down.
After that things moved a bit slower, but hopefully I have escaped the writers rut I found myself in and I hope to get this novel back on track.

I'm currently working on a novel that includes some paranormal activity and angst, with the lead character fighting to overcome some hurdles that are holding her back.

I have recently been struggling with this and the strategy which seems to have helped get me back to writing has been to read some writers guides like 'Take off your pants!' by Libbie Hawker and for some help to feel more confident in the Indie self publishing world 'Write. Publish. Repeat.' by Sean Platt. Overall, they have helped me shake off the inertia.

Yep I'm on with a second book, not a sequel though!
I'm really pleased you enjoyed my book, I was a total writing novice and no-one had read it before I self published...I know a big no-no in the publishing world, but out seems to have turned out okay.
I think with my second I will see if I can rope in some Goodreads volunteers to test it out before I release, so let me know if you're game!
