Hi Jennifer, I believe the message is slowly but surely getting through. Many of the countries that practice Child/Forced marriage are working together with Governments / tribal leaders on eliminating the practice,and there are now a lot of organizations working on the ground in these countries to educate those who support it about the harm and devastation it causes. However, i believe much more needs to be done by making more people aware about the issue itself. Many people in the UK are unaware that Child marriage even exits, never mind knowing it happens in our own back yard! It will take time, especially because its gone on for so long and is a part of many cultures and traditions, but if nobody ever tries to right a wrong then nothing would ever change.

Personally for me it was to get the word out about Child Brides and the fact that it still happens today, not only in other countries but also in the UK.
