L.J. Taylor I've taken a lot of writing seminars and some of the best advice I've received is to not wait for the muse. She can be fickle. Once I decide to work on a story, I try to sit down and work on it most days and not wait for inspiration. With that being said, inspiration can come out of nowhere and from the most mundane things. Something you see or overhear or think of. A random phrase I thought of out of the blue once gave rise to my one and only erotic poem.
L.J. Taylor I tend to read romantic suspense and spy novels and I am a civil trial attorney by profession. So naturally, my storyline, which came straight out of my imagination, combines these influences.
