Christian Green I am a huge fan of superheroes and comic books. So naturally, it made sense to create my own superhero world and tell stories that I find intriguing and feel that others will as well.
Christian Green Television, movies and of course a good book. Anytime I see or read something exciting I get motivated to write. It doesn't matter what I'm working on, If I see or read something that captures my attention, it motivates me to write even more.
Christian Green My debut novel "The League of Protectors" was recently released. I am now working on five short e books based on the main characters in this novel. I want to give the readers a chance to learn more about these characters. After that, I will concentrate my attention on my vampire novel, which is currently in a reediting stage.
Christian Green Read stories. Read lots of stories, especially in the genre in which you want to write in. Do research on different authors and learn what's work for them. Once you've done that, figure out what works for you. Figure out what your writing style will be and never be afraid to take criticism. We as writers improve our craft daily, especially after receiving feedback.
Christian Green The best thing about being a writer is the ability to create a world and control it however you like. I've sure we've all had a television show we've watched and then thought, I wish they would do this. Or, if I was writing, I would write this. Being a writer gives you that freedom and control to write about whatever you want, however you want. That rush of seeing your thoughts come to life is such an exhilarating experience.
Christian Green For me, sitting still and trying to reach a daily quota or write a single chapter without stopping is difficult. So I typically map out what I want each chapter to cover ahead of time. On most occasions, I type about four pages at a time and then I walk away and do something else. I repeat that process continuously throughout the day. When the day is done I've usually typed about twenty pages or a chapter of my work. That has been my process for combating writer's block!
