S.A. Baker Mostly from my daughter. When she was much younger, she wanted so desperately to believe that there was another world beyond what we can see. That fairy folk were real and, if you tried very hard, you could call fauns to you. She called out to them continually and became upset when nothing happened. I had to make up a reason why they wouldn't come on the spot. The story developed from that white lie.
S.A. Baker I can find inspiration in just about anything. Most of it never comes to much fruition but there are sparks of creativity everywhere if you know how to look at them.
S.A. Baker The third book in the Winterbourne series.
S.A. Baker Read, write, repeat. Always explore threads, you'll eventually find one that pulls to a marvelous result.
S.A. Baker I think the best thing for me is having people read the goofy little stories I have written, and then demanding more goofy little stories once they've finished. Eventually there might be enough people demanding stories, goofy or otherwise, that I could do it for a living!
S.A. Baker I try to always be writing. Whether actually, physically writing or just exploring ideas and scenes in my head.
