The best cure for me is to stop working on the story that I'm stuck on. Sometimes I work on something else and the words will flow or I read a book by some one else.
Generally after doing one of the two I am able to get back on track with the story I was stuck on and the story flows again. I also talk through the part I'm stuck with a writing partner which also serves to unblock me a lot of the time.

For me writing is a creative outlet but also an escape. When I'm really stressed by the every day (which who isn't right now), being able to lose myself in a story helps me let go of all the stress and relax.

Don't ever give up on your dreams. The process can be difficult but it is definitely worth it. The hardest thing for me to get used to were revisions from my editor. You just have to realize the goal is only to make your book better and try not to be oversensitive about your book baby.

I'm currently working on Daddy's Dumpster Diva (working title my publisher will change it). Its the story of an artist that dumpster dives to find things that other people have thrown away and use to it make art.
She of course dumpster dives in the dumpster of a policeman that is remodeling an apartment building in his spare time.
The story is unfolding for me and I'm really enjoying writing it.

Life inspires me. I save the ridiculous things people do and say to use later in a book. Especially on dating sites. The things men hitting on you feel free to say is pretty amazing.
I also add in my own experiences and look up what I don't know based on experience.

I was thinking about writing another Daddy book with a twist and the idea for the female heroine to be an artist that dumpster dives to use other people's trash to make art.
The male MC is also a shifter so it should be a fun story.
