Cara Louise I don't usually get writer's block as I have lots of ideas and just look at my scribbled notes then expand them. Cara Louise Initially I was interested in Andrew Collins' ideas on sonic technology and began by looking at the Fall of Jericho. It fascinated me as the story of the walls crumbling through the use of the sound of musical instruments and shouting appears to be totally unique. From there, I got intrigued by the idea of Rahab, the prostitute who betrayed the city to Joshua, and wondered what her family would have thought. They were the only ones spared. Every man, woman, child and even the animals were all slaughtered. I wanted to tell the story from the perspective of Rahab's sister and the conquered people.
