The entire concept for "Crown of Crimson" was actually centered around Lyom Livingstone, who isn't even the lead. An old friend inspired him and his character led to the creation of the novel.

As it is, the Afterlight Chronicles is all fantasy, but science-fiction and dystopia have always been among my favorite genres! We'll see how the Afterlight Chronicles does and go from there.

You want the honest answer? I have tons of projects running 24/7. Other authors will read this and gasp, because how dare I commit my focus to more than one project at a time? Well, I'm an author and a screenwriter. It happens. When I have writers block on one, I transition to the other, and vice versa. Seems to work!

I've pretty much always loved reading. Who doesn't? You get to escape reality in live in a world where anything can happen! Except ... sometimes that book doesn't end the way you want it to. I think that's where I started. I just decided that maybe other people thought that books should end the way I figured they should end, and maybe we had some common interests.
