Andrei Cherascu My wife was really upset over something one day and I just wished I could be her mindguard; project a Weixman Cube like Sheldon and make all her troubles go away. Also, Sheldon spoke to me. He let me know that he is alive and that he would make it out of my mind one way or another... I felt that writing this novel was the least traumatic option.
Andrei Cherascu My next work is another sci-fi novel which plan to release in an episodic format. I'm also working on a sequel to Mindguard.
Andrei Cherascu I read a ton. I look at other artists (writers, musicians, painters, sculptors, anyone really) and get very competitive. I work out a lot, which is surprisingly helpful.
Andrei Cherascu Simply having the opportunity to be who you always knew you were.
Andrei Cherascu Never assume anything is impossible. Always try, always go forward, don't let anything deter you. Adapt. Never quit when there's a problem, always try to find a way to deal with it work around it. Be fearless. Be a machine. Always move forward.
Andrei Cherascu I haven't yet had to deal with writer's block. I'm a full-time writer and I look at writing as a daily job. Most days I try to cram in about 6 to 8 hours of writing. I get a general idea about what I want to write (I guess you could call it "inspiration") and then I just build on it.
