By living my life. I see challenges as opportunities for growth - and if I can then share how I overcame my struggles I am hopefully helping others on their path.

The inspiration for "From Type A to Type Me" came from my own journey. At times I found enjoyment, purpose, and accomplishment by multitasking and completing projects efficiently and effectively. Other times I felt stressed out, overwhelmed, exhausted, and drained from my Type-A behaviors.
Over the years, stress, worry, anxiety, and all of the other side effects of being a Type A took a toll on me both mentally and physically. Not realizing stress was causing my physical pain, I searched high and low to find relief. After Western medicine, Oriental medicine, and alternative practitioners could not release my symptoms, I ended up in Peru working with a shaman.
In working with the shaman, I learned it was safe and beneficial for me to let go of unnecessary responsibilities and obligations. More significantly I learned I was creating my pain. It took thirty days of food and exercise preparation and ten days working with a shaman to relieve my health issues, but I am more powerful than regiment or healer. Heading home, after only a matter of moments in the Miami airport, all of the symptoms rushed back. I learned I am in control of how I feel mentally and physically, and most importantly, how I can change what I experience.
This realization was the impetus to creating the Type-Me Daily Habits to help myself and others to find joy, peace, and power in their lives again.
