Enjoy it.
Just enjoy writing whatever your heart desire's. It doesn't matter what it is - fiction, poetry, fanfiction. Just enjoy it.
I can promise that, even if the original doesn't hold up after a few years, you'll find joy in the characters, or the world, or something, and delight in giving it new life.

Good books, good tv shows, good movies, good video games. Any media I enjoy can often generate interesting concepts for me. And then I want to see them be real.

I can throw the constraints of reality to the wind and do whatever I want with the worldbuilding. Who cares if plumbing is a late invention, and natural dyes fade? It's fantasy, I don't have to follow that.

On a good day? Read a book or watch a TV show, as writer's block is usually more a byproduct of my mind not being stimulated enough.
On a bad day? I find just about anything else I need to do. Even if it's stuff I don't actually need to do then.

While there are many fantasy worlds I'd love to visit, I'd probably go with the one I've loved since childhood: Narnia.
It's got dragons, talking animals, kings and queen, and Narnia itself just gives such a beautiful impression. Seems like a great place to take a relaxing vacation!
