My advice would be to always carry around a pad or book or something to just scribble your thoughts and ideas down, even if you find its only just a sentence or two at a time. I always keep my idea book on me as you never know when you will get inspired (normally in the most strangest of places!) I always have the current story I am writing on my mind. I feel this helps with ideas, story progression or overcoming writer's block. When you are writing something you enjoy and are passionate about then you find it is never far away from your thoughts. Just believe in yourself and don't be afraid to get your work out there! Oh and get as many friends and family to proof read too :)

There are lots of things I enjoy being a writer. The best thing is probably the satisfaction I get from writing. I try to write everyday and I look forward to every evening when I do. I love thinking up plots and twists and character progression. Another great feeling is when you hear from the people that have loved your book, it really is an amazing, though I am still finding it quite surreal!

That's a tricky one! I find the more you stress about it the worst it gets. If its a certain character and I am having difficulty progressing the story I read their past chapters and just start taking notes. What would really upset this character? Or make them happy? What are the goals (short and long term) that they want to achieve? I find if you just jump straight it and start writing, even if you have a couple of pages of rubbish that you need to edit later, you are still writing and getting past that wall!

Currently, I am working on the second installation of the Project Butterfly series. This one will be called Project Mayhem and I am about half way through writing it!
