Why is Jonas the only one who can reach Chris? If his grandparents have been watching over him, and are more closely connected through blood, why can't they reach him? I'm speculating it is because the two friends are eternally connected because of Jonas's ultimate sacrifice to save his friend, but I don't remember any details that infer that connection.
