Bringing my stories to life. I have a need to get my characters out of my head and onto the page, fleshing them out and bringing them to life in a way that others can appreciate as well.

Its doesn't matter if you're a beginning writer or have be writing for years. The important thing is to write, and write often. Practice makes the writing better. Also, writers read, so never stop reading and emulating your favorite authors. Learn their styles and incorporate that into what you write. You'll soon find your writing improving.

I have two novels in the works, titled "Crimson Cove" and "The Beastly Arms." The first is a tale of urban horror/fantasy about a man with the ability to work magic who hires out to help his community fight the forces of evil and discovers that he is part of a long line of "hunters" from an ancient order dedicated to the same fight. The second take a more light-hearted approach regarding a young woman who moves into a new condo only to discover that all of her neighbors are actually monsters! I also have another short story in the works called "They Dwell in Stone" about a man who believes that something is living in the walls of his home!

One can find so much inspiration in a bookstore! :-)
