Everything is an inspiration and everyone has a story. Ideas just pop into my mind and I quickly write down just a few words, so I can come back to it later and see if this will make a good story that I would love to write and my readers would enjoy.

My mother passed away two years ago. She was the ultimate story teller. In her last year of life, I began to write down her stories as a way of healing my own grief. I shared some of these stories with my friends, and everyone is urging me to publish them. So perhaps, that will be my next book.

Many people are afraid to start writing, but if you love it, just do it. Everyone is their own worst critic. If you have a good story inside of you, and it doesn't let you sleep at night, then write it. The first page is the hardest. Just let it flow and enjoy the process of creation.

I love being a writer, because it is the ultimate escapism. When I write, it's like I'm watching the story as if it was a movie. I have a hard time keeping my hands moving fast enough to write it all down.
