I walk away and relax. I can't force the story or I'll have tons of rewrites to do. My characters tell their own stories and I've learned not to rush them.

Meeting fellow Authors and making some amazing friends along the way. Being able to share my work with others and the wonderful feeling I get, when someone reads my short story and actually understands the message of the book. That's the best thing about being a writer.

I’ve written for years, it was just something I did. I found myself daydreaming about all sorts of things (odd things actually) and found that if I wrote them down, the nagging feeling would go away; writing was my release. Honestly, I’d never thought about becoming an Author, I just wanted to write. However, a few years ago a dear friend of mine lost a child at a very young age and naturally she was devastated. I tried to the best of my ability to find the right words to comfort her but failed terribly. She’d always say “If I knew my child didn’t suffer, then maybe I’d be able to come to terms with the death”. I decided to write a book that offered her comfort; a possible alternative to the end she feared. Therefore, the story of Soul Chaser was born.
