I got the idea for my most recent novel while I was talking to a friend one day about life and the things we go through and how sometimes, we make decisions based on pain. Those decisions can leave us empty and feeling like we've failed ourselves and everyone around us. I wanted to tell a story about a woman dealing with choices from her past and learning that what she thought to be true wasn't. It's a story about perceptions, love and God's unending forgiveness.
