My book is written for anyone who wants to cross the chasm from the life they were given to the life they dream of. The Good Entrepreneur tells the untold stories of leaders and the often isolating path we all walk. Over the last several years, I spent time doing the hard work of looking at my flaws as a leader, husband, father, and friend. Through deep work and close friends, I found out that they were vast and deep.
As I began to tell my story to other leaders, opening up vulnerably, 9 out of 10 would look over their shoulder to make sure no one was listening and then quietly tell me something along the lines of “if you only knew” as in if you only the truth about my situation you would see that the headlines don’t match the reality.
I realized that my vulnerability unlocked the ability for others to share their stories as well. So I wrote The Good Entrepreneur from a place of truth-telling and vulnerability with the hope that isolated leaders would read it or hear it and realize they aren’t alone.
My hope is that this book will help you and others to think deeply about the legacy we are creating.
