Patricia Posner Thank you for the good words Rui, much appreciated.

As you can see in the book, I put a lot of effort to providing reference and source notes so other researchers can follow the evidence if they decide to write about this part of history. I think my top contribution is setting forth a little known story about the Holocaust and giving the road map to others who want to pursue the field.

Also, while the story of Auschwitz and Capesius is a grim one, it is great that I can also show the best part of human nature - when two men, one a survivor and one a judge, pursue justice and manage to bring Capesius to trial 20 years after the war. It demonstrates that one or two people can make a difference in this world, and that it is never too late for justice and truth.
