It sat in the dark. It's thick hair matted and soaked with blood...

This summer I plan on revisiting some older books that I read years ago from the Isaac Asimov Foundation series. I truly recommend them to any mystery or sci-fi fan!

I have always had a love of reading. Thousands of books. My early favourites were by Enid Blyton - The Famous Five series. I started writing early. I was the editor of my high school newspaper and the editor of the 'underground' newspaper (the articles that the school wouldn't officially allow to be printed. I was writing then. I wrote a murder / mystery play. I have many just-started books. The White Horseman is my first published book and The Red Horseman is nearly complete. Keep up the questions! Thanks.

Good question: It could be a book about missing time. Back in 1988 I had an accident that caused me to lose approximately two weeks of my memory. Everything one week before the accident, and everything one week after. This could make an interesting book. What exactly could have happened within those two weeks? An abduction? A crime that remains unsolved? Did I just walk away for a few weeks? More likely, it may have been the government - I saw something that I shouldn't have. They scrubbed my memory before allowing me to go free. Perhaps one day I will find out exactly what happened in those two weeks! Keep up the questions! I love stuff like this :)

Fictional characters? Hummm - so many! But first to mind are not exactly a 'couple' - the vampire Lestat and Louis from Anne Rice's Interview With A Vampire. They played so well off each other that I believe them to be the ultimate 'power couple'!

The main character for this book was based on my cousin (who is also called Ben). The original inspiration for the main story line came from a dream which I wrote down. It was such a great dream that I actually drew a picture of the house in the large tree (which would eventually become Ronan's house in the book). Thanks for asking :)

Hey lord56voldemort - thanks for the follow!

I must have tons of little pieces of paper littered all around my desk! Each one is an idea, a thought, or a song lyric that caught my fancy. I keep a notebook in my car for stray thoughts. I also have an awful memory and I'm sure I've lost a thousand good ideas in my mind! I agree - you have to catch that thought as it enters you or it will fly just as quickly past you.

Good question! I am currently working on the next book in the series: The Red Horseman. It carries the story from The White Horseman and continues it! Dark times are coming to the magical folk of Wode Uplands... There will be new characters introduced and of course the characters from the first book are in it. Who with win this battle of good versus evil?

Keep writing! The more that you write the better you become at it! It's hard in the beginning to keep on track but try to have a clear vision of where you want to end the novel. The devil is in the details!

Creating something magical! My mind conjures up some very interesting things and to do able to turn around and share them with a reader is the best feeling in the world.

I step away from the computer. Sometimes I am pushing too hard for the next sentence or paragraph. I close my eyes and let the characters interact with each other outside of typing. It doesn't take long before the storyline comes back together!
