I love that I can work in pajama pants, haha. Besides that, I think my favorite thing about writing is having a completely bonkers idea and working it into an actual story. I also love the mechanics of writing (and illustrating) - searching for just the right word, just the right sentence, playing with the illustrations and character design until it's as close to perfect as I can make it.

I am currently working on a new picture book project featuring a prim and proper bear and a middle grade graphic novel. I'm very excited about both.
