LMAO, you so get me. I'm hoping to have the next book done by end of summer/early fall. I'm in rewrites. I have book 3 planned out and ideas for book 4 are beginning to form.
Will Gabriel get a boyfriend in the next book? *SPOILER ALERT*
No. In the third book, though, I'll introduce her a proper love interest, but I'm 90% sure it won't be a dude.

Idk if I have a favorite scene, but I definitely have favorite moments and lines. For "Wyatt's" development, I like the scene where he's talking to his dad about his mother and the part just before where he's thinking about growing up in his dad's apartment. It was important to me that the reader have that context. Speaking of things that were important to me, the scene in the drug store parking lot. I changed "Wyatt's" entire backstory in order to put him in a proper parking lot. He was originally just supposed to be from Manhattan, but there aren't really parking lots like that with the light post and everything there. I love the banter between "Lucifer" and "Gabriel", especially after the frat house scene. "Battier than the underside of a haunted bridge" still makes me laugh.

Probably Gabriel, mostly because she gives me the most opportunity to be funny. When I first started writing her, I just wanted her to be hilarious, but as the scenes went on, it became very clear that her personality was my personality. Some of her issues are my issues. In the next two books, I'll show more of why she is the way she is, why she hates her parents, etc. Things that differentiate her from me and give her a lot more depth.
