I take a break from what I am working on. I find by refocusing my attention on something else for awhile it allows me to look back at my work with a clear mind. That generally clears of the block for me.

Keep at it....don't give up just because its daunting or you haven't been picked up by a publisher or agent. At the end of the day, the story should satisfy you first and foremost.
