I was inspired by the town of Emerald Isle, North Carolina, where my family vacationed every summer for over twenty years. It's a beautiful town to vacation to but what do we know about the people that live there? I created Finding Home thinking about what locals do in a tourist town, and what their everyday life is like during the summer months where new faces come in for a short amount of time.
